What we migrate
What We Migrate
Products and Catalogue
Your catalogue is the heart of your store, so we move it carefully and check it against the old store:
- Products, variants, SKUs and prices
- Product images and image alt text
- Categories mapped to Shopify collections
- Product tags, attributes and inventory levels
We compare the new store with the old one before launch so no product, price or variant goes missing.
Customers and Orders
Your customers and order history matter for marketing, support and repeat sales. We bring across:
- Customer names, emails and addresses
- Past orders and order history
- Gift cards and store credit where possible
- Product reviews into a Shopify review app
- Discount codes rebuilt in Shopify
- Email marketing lists ready for Klaviyo or Shopify Email
Content and SEO
A migration should keep the traffic you have already earned from Google. We take care of:
- 301 redirects from every old URL to its new page
- Page titles and meta descriptions
- Blog posts and content pages
- Sitemap submission in Google Search Console
- Checks for broken links after launch
Store Setup on Shopify
Once your data is in, the store has to be ready to sell from day one. We set up:
- Theme design matched to your brand
- Payments, shipping zones and taxes
- Apps to replace your old plugins
- Domain connection and email settings
- Test orders before going live

How it works
Our Shopify Migration Process
- 1
Store audit
We review your current store, plugins, product structure, URLs and traffic so nothing important is missed.
- 2
Migration plan and quote
You get a list of what moves, what needs rebuilding in Shopify, a fixed price and a timeline.
- 3
Test migration
We import your data into a new Shopify store and check products, variants, prices and images against the old store.
- 4
Theme and features
We set up your theme to match your brand and rebuild the features you rely on, using Shopify apps or custom code.
- 5
Redirects and SEO
Every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new address, and titles, descriptions and image alt text carry across.
- 6
Final sync and launch
We bring over any new orders and customers, connect your domain and test checkout with real orders.
- 7
After launch
We monitor Google Search Console for errors and fix any broken links in the weeks after the move.
Why Brands Move From WooCommerce to Shopify
WooCommerce is flexible, but running it means looking after hosting, plugin updates, security and speed yourself. As a store grows, that maintenance takes time away from selling. Shopify handles hosting, security and checkout for you, has a fast and trusted checkout with Shop Pay, and makes it easy for your team to manage products and orders without a developer.
The hard part is the move itself. Products, variants, customers and old URLs all need to come across cleanly, or you lose sales and Google rankings. That is the part we take care of.
Protecting Your SEO During the Move
Most of the traffic lost in a bad migration comes from missing redirects. WooCommerce product URLs look different from Shopify ones, so without redirects Google sends visitors to error pages. We export every indexed URL from your old store and Search Console, match each one to its new page, and test the redirects before launch. We also keep your page titles, meta descriptions and structured content, so Google can recognise the new store as the same business.
Moving From Wix, Squarespace or Another Platform
The same process works for stores on Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Magento and custom builds. Each platform exports data differently, so we plan the import around what your current platform allows and fill any gaps by hand.
Working With Brands in Australia, the UK and the USA
Alhuda Solutions has been building websites since 2012. Our team is based in Multan, Pakistan, and works with ecommerce brands in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Because we work while you sleep, a lot of the heavy lifting, like data imports and testing, happens overnight for you, and the store is ready to check when you start your day.
What It Costs
Every migration is quoted at a fixed price based on the number of products, the data you want to move and the features you need on Shopify. FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can't find your answer? Ask us on a free call.
Will I lose my Google rankings when I move to Shopify?
Not if the move is planned properly. We map every old URL to its new Shopify URL with 301 redirects, carry over page titles and meta descriptions, and submit the new sitemap to Google Search Console. Small changes in traffic for a few weeks are normal, but rankings should settle once Google has crawled the new store.
Will my store go offline during the migration?
No. Your current store keeps running while we build and test the Shopify store. We only switch the domain once you have checked everything and approved it, usually at a quiet time for your business.
Can customers keep their accounts and passwords?
Customer details, addresses and order history move across. For security reasons passwords cannot be copied between platforms, so customers set a new password the first time they log in. We can help you send them a short invitation email.
Which platforms can you migrate from?
WooCommerce is the most common, but we also move stores from Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Magento, OpenCart and custom-built sites.
What happens to my product reviews?
Reviews can usually be exported and imported into a Shopify review app such as Judge.me or Yotpo, so your product pages keep their social proof.
How long does a migration take?
A small store with a few hundred products usually takes two to three weeks, including design and testing. Larger catalogues or custom features take longer. You get a timeline with the quote.
